Inevitably, you will also encounter swans at Three Ponds. Most of the
time they are lazy and dosile. But for a couple of months out of the year (late winter/early spring) they get grumpy.
Nesting time! They trumpet, flap their huge wings, wrap their necks, and stomp around the property to show off for their
potential mates.
.
They don't seem to notice that there are an even number of females to
males and that they're bound to lay eggs and hatch the little ones each spring....even without the theatrics.
Cricket the Pomeranian romps in the snow. Her yap is far worse than her bite.
